Not that I'm aware of. Benoit Benjamin was probably the highest rated recruit ever at Creighton. This is huge for Coach Mac as his biggest question mark was probably recruiting as previous top 100 recruits were under the radar (Harrell) or local (Patton) at the time of commitment. Alexander represents the first recruit that was highly ranked and sought after during his recruitment.

This is huge for Coach Mac as his biggest question mark with people in our fanbase who can't seem to understand that Rome wasn't built in a day - and as a result had ridiculously unrealistic expectations - was probably recruiting, as previous top 100 recruits were under the radar (Harrell) or local (Patton) at the time of commitment. We managed to totally turn over our entire roster with terrific players, but with some of us, it was NOWHERE NEAR enough; Alexander represents the first recruit that was highly ranked and sought after during his recruitment, allowing all of us with less robust constitutions to finally sleep at night.

But yeah, I think it's safe to say we're pretty pumped across the board about this one.

I read that Alexander is the top 2017 shooting guard in North Carolina.
I also read that he was considered a lock for Virginia Tech, Buzz Williams, and Buzz Williams' clipboard.
