Odd that they would add three western teams isn't it? I figured either Richmond or VCU for sure.

The report used "expected" instead of saying it was happening, right? It could just be the author's interpretation of things rather than insider knowledge.

Interesting that the article originally said X and Butler and that's it, then the other three to get to 12 in 2014, then it was edited to say X and BUtler plus one expected this year plus the other three in 2014.

Not sure if that means it is Richmond vs. VCU for the 10th spot or if both are out of consideration and instead they are holding a spot for Notre Dame or some other wild card that may come through this year.

I say we have an audition for the last couple spots. Whoever advances furthest in the tournament between Richmond, SLU, VCU, Dayton, and Creighton next season gets the last three spots.

Rumor is that ND will be trying to join the New Big East for one season. Could be the mystery team.

What I've heard is that Creighton is in. Next year if possible, if not the year after. No guarantee of going past 10 so no guarantee for Dayton, St. Louis or anybody else.

Notre Dame will decide to either play one year with our new league (and yes, we'd take them with open arms) or go to the ACC a year early. They do not want any part of the Memphis, SMU, Houston group.

Odd the reports are all from ESPN, CBS, and SI. Wouldn't it be great to get a report from Fox sports? Oh well the announcement will be soon and we will soon know who the lucky teams are 0-42 teams are...

Naw, FOX knows what's going to happen so they have to stay mum until everything gets an official announcement. All those other site are tripping over themselves trying to scoop the story.
