Heading into BE play...

9 Creighton
46 Nova
53 Butler
63 X
66 St. John's
70 Providence
95 Seton Hall
199 Georgetown
271 DePaul

Didn't really improve in the past 2 weeks. But Kenpom does look better than the NET by a pretty good margin

3 UCONN
6 Marquette
10 Creighton
28 Nova
41 Xavier
52 Providence
59 Butler
61 St. John's
84 Seton Hall
178 Georgetown
216 DePaul

Average ranking (not a good figure for conference strength) is 80 NET vs 67 KENPOM.

Jays at 13? Clearly NET is meaningless.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

BE will likely finish 4th, unless the SEC really struggles in their remaining non-con games.

so 1 thing that's interesting- for Villanova- they have the Big 5 game vs Drexel- at Wells Fargo- listed as a neutral site game.

Thought any game at a home arena even if it's a "neutral site" is considered a home game(a la St John's in the BET).

At least right now it's a moot point as Drexel is 137 and would be safely in Q3 level even if a home game.

Nova got some help last night as UCLA won. That's now back up to a Q3 win for Nova. Up to 30 now, which of course is the big line for their oppoents as now home games vs Nova would be Q1 chances.

I think you have to have more than 4 games at the same venue for a game there to be automatically considered a "HOME GAME" for NCAA purposes, no?

EDIT: The reason the game is a neutral site is because the game was part of the new Big-5 Classic format - a single day triple-header between the Big-5 (6 with the addition of Drexel) teams at the same venue. So technically it's a neutral game for everyone. Now, if you play more than 4 home games at the venue it may be treated as a home game anyway for NET purposes

Losing to Notre Dame by 22 is not.. good. UVA was 31, ND 237 before the game.
