Source: Five-Star prospect Mackenzie Mgbako will visit St. John's this weekend.

Mgbako initially committed to Duke. One of the top players in the 2023 class.

So far the players that Pitino has gotten are a little underwhelming, getting Mgbako would change things.

Staggering number of decommits is hilarious, and big names continue to enter the portal. I don't know if filling up the roster with marginal portal talents early would've been the best idea this cycle. Pitino will have pretty nice talent to choose from.

I think Mgbako is going to be REALLY tough....his final 4 are Indiana, Kansas, Louisville and SJU....with Pitino you never know, but very tough competition.....

Dingle, Luis, and Ware would satisfy me if no Mgbako
