Right.

Looking at things:
Probably need
2-1 next 3 games(Marquette, @ Butler, @ St John's)
beat DePaul, Georgetown 2nd time around

and then 2 wins from this group
Creighton
@ UConn
Xavier
@ Providence

That would get to 18-13. I suppose could replace one of the final 4 group wins with going 3-0 these next 3 games.

And they still play Nova twice. The minimum would be to sweep the teams currently occupying the bottom 5 places of the standings plus get 1 more win. That certainly doesn't guarantee a bid, but it should get them in the conversation. A loss to a team below them can be made up by beating another team above them, unless the loss comes to Georgetown.

I think you forgot to include 2 games vs. Nova. Even with a split there, 19-12 sounds better with win #20 against Georgetown in the BET.

Right. Of course if they split with Nova- they'd be 12-8. I think that would be good enough to get them out of the 6 seed realistically. Might need to win that 4/5 game to really feel comfortable about things.

St. John's has joined the BET or bust group with Georgetown, DePaul, and Butler. Villanova joins this group if they lose Sunday. Seton Hall very much in the picture, but they need to win their next 3 very winnable games.

UConn trending to be that classic team in that 7-10 seed range that no top seed would want to see in their bracket.

Bracket Matrix is a consensus of about 80 different brackets. Here’s their latest:

4 - Xavier
4 - UConn
4 - Marquette
6 - Providence
10 - Creighton
