Nova down 10-0 early and could never get it closer than 6 points the entire game. McCormack dominated inside for 25 points and Kansas hit 13-24 from 3 point range.

Just a brutal start and that dagger by braun from 30 just killed and hope after they got it to 6. The 3 shooting and most importantly, the McCormick mismatch inside made the difference. Self coached them up, no question.

That said, Kansas is GOOD. They deserved to win and I think will win Monday.

Obviously would have loved to see us with Moore that game. Needed a damn near perfect game with him. They got what they normally would have from Daniel's, but only 3 from Antoine off the bench. That lost 15 from Moore might have made a difference. We needed to keep that game low scoring and there was no way.

At the beginning of the year I felt nova had a chance for the Elite 8 this year, so I guess I should be happy, but, not yet.

You should be proud of another accomplished season.

No Moore and white hot shooting by Kansas was too much, and yes - they’re center is good.

We weren't beating Kansas if they played their A game, and that's exactly what happened. Can't complain too much other than we had a better shot to win it all last year.

Great year for Villanova. Class of the Big East. Really hurting for Moore, total impact player.

Gonna hang with Moore for the rest of his life wondering what if. Hope he can find some closure on that.

KU just swept through the Big East. Proud of our teams and that a really diminished Jays team played them as well as anyone.

Can’t wait until next year.

Really thought Nova had a chance when they brought it down to 6.

But then there was that brutal sequence of events to shut the door. Damn... I was getting excited and then all of the sudden I yelled "Dagger" at my TV. I knew it was too much.

Nonetheless, Nova team represented themselves well, their school, and their fan base. Once again Nova carried the Big East to the F4 with a ton of class.

I have nothing to watch now till November (Except for UConn WBB). Skipped the UNC/Duke F4 and will definitely not watch this Monday night.

Having watched the replay just now, it's inherently clear that Nova's small lineup is superior in both offense and defense if Dixon isn't nailing 3 pointers, at least against Kansas. Moore's absence prevented Nova from being able to go small, which is exactly what the pundits were saying all week. Nova will miss Samuels more than Gillespie next season unless Jay manages to bring in a stud big transfer.
