I think you're out of your mind if you think Sean Miller is better than McDermott...

Based on this year? I think Millers resume looks a little better than McDermott.

Xavier is pissed. We went home and got our big Bother.

I mean...I only see 3 Big East coaches next year coming off of sweet 16 appearances...

Chris Mack has a better resume than Bob McKillop. Doesn't make him the better coach, imo. McDermott is one of the best coaches in the country.

Not trying to sound like a hater... A good Xavier is good for the conference.

McDermott one of the best coaches in the country?!   Thanks for the good laugh

Norlander had some interesting things to say in his podcast that dropped this morning.

-South Carolina's offer to Miller was about 1M higher annually, but Miller really wanted Xavier.
-Xavier's AD is actually in the infractions committee.
-Miller's punishment will probably be a few game suspension at worst.
-Willard to Maryland feels like a done deal.
-Holloway to Seton Hall likely.
-There is another coach Seton Hall is looking at if Willard leaves, but Norlander wasn't willing to name the candidate.

Bobby Hurley would make sense, given his Jersey ties and background. Hurley wouldn't want it known he's looking around because he's already on the hot seat at ASU and likely seeks a change in scenery. If it leaks he's under consideration at Hall, and he doesn't get offered, ASU could look to make a change themselves. I think Norlander is also close with Hurley.

He gone!

Sources: Maryland is expecting to hold a press conference at some point early this week to introduce Seton Hall's Kevin Willard as its next head basketball coach

Hurley's a terrible coach, Jersey roots or not. He's 60-67 in 7 seasons in a weakass Pac 12. Hall can do so much better.

I did like that ASU played hard down the stretch, and it seems like they beat BE teams every single season. The refs might boycott this conference if we end up with 2 Hurleys... lol

Already did. I could be wrong, but my understanding is that both deals were effectively done before the tournament started.
