Talk about a news dump of epic proportions...

Wow, seems like a Shaka, he was probably gonna get fired so he jumped ship.

Something in the water at VCU. Every coach is jumpy.

Insane to me. Not sure who SC thinks they can get that would be better.

Wonder if Kansas State tries to bring Martin back. Martin has the personality of a BE coach. Too bad we don't have any openings.

1 NCAA tournament in 10 years is not good albeit it was a Final Four.

Saw McDermott’s name mentioned at LSU, but it sounds like he has agreed to an extension at CU that will keep him here. That’s very good news.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

Hopefully Creighton has their lifer. BE is starting to look like a conference with a solid group of unpoachable coaches that should be around for years to come.

From Norlander:
Source—St. John’s coach Mike Anderson is no longer a candidate for the Tulsa opening. Anderson’s buyout is in the $2.5 million range, Tulsa isn’t flush with cash, interest not mutual.

Anderson’s been connected to the job because he’s a Tulsa alum, got his start in coaching there

Wright, Cooley, McDermott seems like a darn good start.

I think Hurley is in that group, if not very soon. Not too sure what to think about Shaka, but he's near his hometown and they can pay him a ton.
