The very fact that this is a possibility absolutely guarantees that Steele will not go down as a legend, because we never should’ve been here in the first place. Another February swoon.

He damn well better beat Butler, and for that matter keep it going against Providence.

I'd admit to being a sadist if I wanted Xavier to lose... I'd be the biggest Xavier fan that day! Just can't think of a more exciting start to the first normal March Madness (last season was a fluke) since 2019.

I think Steele should get another year to grow as a coach, but that's just my pov as an outsider. The man shows some moxy and is a great recruiter.

Thanks a lot, you tyrannical sadist.

If that should happen, and UD wins, our board would break the Internet.

How often do you get the chance to sweep OSU, Cinci, and Dayton? Travis Steele becomes instant folk hero.[/quote]

Oohhh Dash, that would be a dream come true for Cryer fans, but a no-win for the Muskies. They would be crazed. If it happened and IF X lost, I can't imagine Steele would survive the blowback.

Hope it doesn't come to pass and you guys are up a couple of seeds to avoid the first 4.

Realistically only way they avoid Dayton w/o some pretty unrealistic upsets elsewhere is to beat Providence.

Cmon BC let’s knock Wake out of the bracket.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.
