So would you rather have the RPI, where Chattanooga is 38 and Creighton is 49?

Xavier actually 2nd team in Dayton for Bracketville- have to remember Davidson considered to have the auto bid for the A10 right now.

Yeah, I got used to your layout of having autos separate. Although I thought pink was nice touch in the last topic.

TBF, nobody scheduled with RPI in mind. It was only briefly mentioned when we were doing conference net strength here, but SOCON is sneaky good (net wise) this season. They were above the A10 at one point. Not surprised at all that Chattanooga team has high NET despite some losses. They scheduled a lot of road games and it shows. 3manweave guys been hyping up this team for a while.

How about this- using NET-
gaps between-
BE to P12 25.94
A10 to SoCon 26.67

Man, 13 line is looking as tough as you ever see it. Iona, Toledo, Chattanooga, and New Mexico St. Won't be shocked if a 13 beats a 4 at all this year.

Maybe 13 is the new 12. I can't say I've watched too many of these mid-major conference games, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of these squads are older than the Thunder and totally capable of upsets.

Lunardi:
Villanova 3 E vs Longwood, Ohio St/Memphis @ Pittsburgh
Providence 4 MW vs Chattanooga, Texas/Rutgers/SMU @ Buffalo
UConn 5 W vs North Texas, Arkansas @ Buffalo
Marquette 7 MW vs Miami, Auburn @ Greenville
Seton Hall 8 E vs Murray St, Kansas @ Ft Worth
Creighton 10 S vs Boise, Duke @ Greenville
Xavier 12 E vs Wyoming, Houston, Illinois @ Milwaukee

Creighton- 3rd team with bye
Xavier- 4th team in(1st team with no bye)

Some pretty interesting paths for teams there. Providence and UConn with some pretty tricky 4/13,5/12 type of matchups. Seton Hall with tough 1st round game, but for a 8/9- Kansas might be the team you'd want to see rd 2- also in a really not home court type of situation.

Meh. I'd rather have a mid-major than a First Four winner. There's a real advantage to having already played and won a game in the big dance.
