This game has pretty big implications. You'd much rather get a wounded Creighton team than having to play Georgetown trying to save its season.

That's why I dont mind Creighton being a 4. We have no shot at playing Georgetown. Nothing good will come out of playing them.

Yeah and the path would be Georgetown, UCONN, Nova, and Providence. Ouch

An underrated potential Thursday matchup is Xavier/Providence 3. Those two teams match up pretty evenly.

Xavier's season would feel very different if they had succeeded in either of the instances where they had the ball in a tie game as time wound down.

This is the dumbest post in a long time. If you'd rather play Creighton than Georgetown right now, I assume you don't actually watch basketball. Wow.

You'd rather play Creighton 100% of the time in the QF over Georgetown in the 1st round.

There's risk/reward associated with these matchups. There's literally no benefit of beating Georgetown while the risk is massive, like getting sent to Dayton type of risk.

If you'd rather be playing Georgetown than Creighton right now, I assume you don't actually know how the Big East Tournament works.
