Historically we get just about 2 bid thieves according to John Gasaway, and that's counting teams that were probably outside but may have played themselves in anyway during their conference tournament runs. If we end up with 2 this year, the cutoff line would be between where BYU and Memphis is in currently.

My guess on where the likely thief will come from:

A10 - 70%
OVC - 35%
MWC - 25%
AAC - 25%
ACC - 15%
CUSA - 10%
PAC12 - 10%

Gotta give the BE (Johnnies) at least a couple percentage points. Come on man!

I'll give you one that could be a bid thief- Big 12. Could easily see Oklahoma play themselves into the tourney in the Big 12 tourney. If they win tomorrow with Kansas St and then win in the 2/7 game in the QF, they would be at 18-15 with a loss in the SF. With 4 Q1 wins could potentially see them in. If they made the finals to get to 19-15 and 5 Q1 wins, I'd say that gets them in.

Big South now with 4 OT games in first 5 games...

The most OT games since 1997 in conference tournaments- also 4 by the 2021 Horizon.

Most OT periods in conference tournament in that time... 7 2021 Horizon and 2009 Big East. (yes that's the 6 OT game year).

man Toledo doesn't look like a team a 4 or 5 seed would want to draw in early round.

I could see Murray and Creighton is a 7-10 game.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

Did you see what LSU coach Kim Mulkey did tonight? She makes Dan Hurley seem calm.
