Crazy that after last night Palm has CU as the best 9 seed. Seems odd.

Two tough home games left for the Jays and I am nervous as heck.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

2/28 bracketville:

https://bracketville.wordpress.com/seed-list/

3 Nova (10)
4 Providence (14)
5 UCONN (20)
7 Marquette (27)
8 Hall (31)
9 Xavier (34)
9 Creighton (35)

Only surprise to me is Memphis still being outside.

Yeah I'd agree. Think Memphis can make it a moot point if they beat Houston on Sunday at home to complete the sweep.

I don't think Xavier gets in unless they get at least 2 more wins, and even then it's a sweaty selection Sunday on Victory Parkway.

There are things going on with X not seen in 35+ years. Steele has lost the Cintas Center. Not only is the rock solid home court advantage gone, but there was mass exodus with 5 minutes to go on Saturday. Decades long season ticket holders are saying they've never seen that before. The Student Section was chanting "Fire Steele".....again never happens. Mired in a 1-6 slide and no chance to finish .500 in conference. X had nearly 40 years straight with .500+ conference records until Steele. He did manage to eek out a 9-9 in year 1, but now 3 sub .500's in a row AND he can't win down the stretch.

Dark times.

You could really hear what you're saying on the telecast from Saturday- not necessarily the Fire Steele but the tone of the crowd was something. With quite a few boos.

Both the exodus and chant were confirmed by people on our board.....plain old booing has become common. Another oddity on Saturday. Evidently someone got into a shouting match with Steele's wife near the end. Not for the reasons Gregg Marshall's wife did, but bizarre none the less.

they showed the exodus on the telecast.

If they lose on Wednesday to St John's Saturday's game with Georgetown is an absolute must win. and I could just imagine what that building would be like if Georgetown is close late in that game.

Steele's teams fading in February is becoming a common theme....

Now worried about the possibility of X AND Creighton not making the tournament thus on 5 Big East teams getting in...
