After tonight we have 7 teams in the Top-50 NET. WOW!

The top-7 have a good separation from the bottom 4 (sub-99 NET)
Stony Brook Red, Connecticut Blue, and Big East basketball!

The Friars haven't been playing from behind in their wins. The exception was at home vs St John's, us down 6 or 7 with 13 or 15 to play, then it was mostly even til maybe 8 minutes left, when we got some distance between us.

We have tended to grind out games with second half leads between like 8 to 14 points. Maybe for a minute it'll close to 6 or jump to 16.

But we haven't had games where we're in a 10-point hole and scramble late to eek out a win. I mean, these kinds of consistent wins are a different kind of lucky. The games are just these long exhausting slogs, grinding, trying to draw fouls.

- at DePaul was a blowout.
- at UConn was a 6 to 12 points lead all game.
- home Seton Hall may have been 5 to 9 mostly?
- home Georgetown today was basically 10 all game.
- home St John's we fell behind maybe 6 early 2nd, but started pulling away with around 8 mins left, up to 7 to 10.

- home Texas Tech, early deficit, led by 2 to 6 in second half.
- neutral Northwestern led by mostly 6 to 10.
- at Wisconsin led by say 6 to 12. Did you guys know that the Badgers played without Johnny Davis?

- home URI was 8 to 14 all game.
- home Vermont was 10 all game.
- home New Hampshire, tied early 2nd, then kept at 10 for last 10 minutes.

- Fairfield, Sacred Heart were 6 to 12.
- CCSU was a blowout.

Losses were disasters:
- at Marquette was 20 to 30 all game.
- neutral Virginia was 10 to 14 mostly.

Summary:
in second half action, we've been behind maybe 8 total minutes over the course of 14 games. Exception was vs St John's (and maybe a bit of Seton Hall).

The problem for Providence is with 10 minutes to go in the 8 games they've played vs Q 3-4 teams- the average margin in those 8 games is only 9.5 points. Fairfield 4 point game with 10 to go. Saint Peter's 5 point game. Sacred Heart 11. Georgetown 11. New Hampshire 12. Had 1 game where they were up 27 at the 10 minute mark(Central Conn St), and they got it back to a 15 point game. MOV of only 13.38 in all 8 Q3-4 games.

The NET is absolutely going to skewer a team like that. Would be interesting to see if there's a team that has a bigger difference from RPI to NET in the top 50ish teams. RPI of 6 NET of 34.

Good with UConn, it's hard to beat a team back to back and Butler showed that by having tight until the last 5 minutes.

margin would wind up being greater last night than it was on Tuesday actually. 17 vs 19.

UConn got 1 more easier game home vs Georgetown before 9 straight Q1/2 games.

Wow, Is there a site you use to find the score at the 10-minutes-to-go mark? Curious to know how many times PC has been losing with under 10 minutes to play.
