Poor DePaul. Been leading the whole game until the final two minutes. All tied up.

Another fun game and ending with few fouls. Final shot was obscured on TV by fans' hands in front of the camera, lol.

Where would Xavier be if they hadn't recruited Nunge?

DePaul played well. Didn't have Freeman-Liberty and still had every chance to win. They seem to be hitting their stride and will be a very tough out once he's back (apparently they're already a tough out witout him).

Xavier/Marquette on Sunday is going to be a lot of fun.

Man, that would have been such an awful highlight if the ball had gone in. I only knew it was a miss from the "clank" noise lol.

With Freemantle also out with an injury for preseason and the beginning of the season, not to mention some poor showings since his return, that would have been tough. They would have been leaning heavily on Dieonte Miles. They wouldn't be as good, but it would have been an interesting look starting a legit shot blocker that can guard all positions. I can't think of a single big-minutes center like that in recent Xavier history.

Xavier is starting to look like they would be easily upset in March. I don't know why, maybe because the offense just seems to stagnate every game. The coach needs to step it up on the offensive end. Also DePaul just couldn't put it together there at the end too, the coaching seemed off for them, almost like he didn't have anything for end of game final possessions. DePaul plays hard though they just need another year and a couple more pieces more adjustments by the coach. Xavier needs more creativity by the coach on offense, they play good defense but God are they hard to watch.

I thought Marquette was done after that 5 game (or was it 4?) losing streak. This has to mean we are getting closer to lock status right? I still have problems with this team though but they do play hard.
