what is funny is if Nova had missed and Marquette gotten the rebound, Marquette wouldn't have been shooting for a while as Nova only had 4 fouls.

This is how you know a team wins too much lol

Congrats you guys won fair and square :)

Since the game was tight from the start, I kind of sensed that coach Wright would go with 6 man rotation. Nova looked completely gassed the last 6 or 7 minutes. I can't be this only one seeing this recurring problem?

2nd longest winning streak in Big East play for them in the last 10 years. Only a 8 game stretch in 2019 was a longer one then this one.

Marquette has now gone from 85 to 39 in Ken Pom in the last 5 games.

Winning by huge margins, beating #3 team on the road, and last remnants of preseason bias being removed. At this rate, it'll be Q1 loss by tomorrow

Marquette and Creighton winning is good for the league maximizing NCAA bids. DePaul beating Xavier would be the opposite.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

if they keep it up it'll be a Q1 loss soon enough.

Marquette now 5-4 vs Q1 opposition and Providence is only 2 spots away from being a 6th Q1 win for them. More Q1 wins than anyone in the BE right now.

A year ago, I could not even imagine Marquette playing as well as it is, being in position to make the NCAAT.

Shaka Smart is worth every penny. It is incredible to have MUBB back.

Always tip my cap to Nova. Remains the class of the league. We all aspire to be the program that Jay has built there.

Yeah and no. DePaul winning against Xavier would improve their NET from 100 down to the mid 80's you'd figure. They improve just a bit more and all of a sudden they're top 75 and a Q1 road chance for teams(and not a bad loss at that).

It would more hurt the seeding for Xavier who would be sliding into the pit of misery moreso I think than impacting the bids.
