Was just thinking the same. Never really competitive.

Action Jackson has a bizarre shooting form, but they go in.

pretty good company I'd say:
Adama Sanogo of @UConnMBB is the first major conference player to have 15+ rebounds and 3+ blocks in 3 straight games since Wake Forest's Tim Duncan in 1996-97.

Getting warmer by the loss. At some point in 29 of the last 41 games, Butler has been down by double digits. Recruitment is almost nil for next year. I am a LJ supporter, and love how he represents the University, but the time may have come. The Butler message board has lit up with calls for LJ to be fired; even local sports podcasts are starting to talk about it, and they rarely talk college hoops outside of IU. I bet this week will be the final undoing for this staff.

In fact, the local ESPN affiliate is talking about it right now...which, again, outside of IU is not normal.

If Butler is serious about making a quick turnaround, I mean really serious, I'd call and see if Pitino's interested.

.

He's on the list for fans...along with Turgeon. Ron Nored is an AC with the Pacers. There is a decent list that Butler could afford right now. Things are getting warmer around Hinkle.

That would be a heck of steal/hire. I wonder if Pitino at his age wants to the deal with the intensity of running another high-major program
Stony Brook Red, Connecticut Blue, and Big East basketball!

Isn't the scuttlebutt that Butler has some long-term financial issues? Perhaps I'm misinformed
but my guess is that the Naptown Dawgs can't afford the $5-7Mill it would take to hire him,
should he want a return to top-shelf hoops?

I want this to happen so I can watch a lot of Butler fans twist themselves in knots over how classy they still are despite having Pitino as their coach.
