I think Nova's gonna win this one but I'm pulling for X. Need the cats to pick up that 2nd loss so we can get back in the regular season title race.

Agreed. An X win puts many of us back in the conf race.

for as flat as Xavier was being down only 11 at halftime is as good as you could reasonably expect.

Once upon a time it was almost unthinkable to see Nova cough up an 11 point lead.

yeah would always seem to find Nova come out and have a 10-2 run or something like that to start the 2nd half and that was ballgame.

GG X fans. Always a good battle and a great environment at the Cintas. I thought we were in control but give your guys credit. Paul and Johnson stepped up big time.

Side note: hoping we can finally stop the narrative of Nova getting a friendly whistle. Tonight…not so much.

Shocked that XU didn’t get the win tonight. Glad I didn’t bet that one.

I thought Gillespie got a friendly whistle but the rest of his team did not. In terms of overall differential, though, holding almost even in free throw attempts when playing X is really impressive when they were 17th in offensive free throw rate and 8th in defensive free throw rate heading into this game.
