Yeah, that's frustrating. Not saying Creighton won't eventually have to sit it out but it's an interesting observation.

I think it's particularly frustrating because Creighton might eventually have to sit it out too. These gaps are just not taking advantage of the time when they're healthy.

Being fully vaxxed and boosted doesn't seem to matter with this current/dominant strain. My daughter is both but she caught it, tested positive and is now in quarantine. Her symptoms are mild because of the vax but she still is contagious to others. Some PC players could be in a similar situation.

You have to wonder when we will move away from that. Like Jordan with the flu in the NBA Finals.

Right, guys play through the flu all the time. Apparently Byrce Aiken was puking in the tunnel during timouts against UConn. They said he, Richmond, and Rhoden all have the flu (and based on their performances I should hope the whole team gets it lol)

Man, this blows. I was seriously looking forward to the 9pm start, watching with the family, bundled up, while temps outside are hovering at around 12. We have these 3 owls in the woods around us that start hooting loud to each other around midnight. I was going to celebrate the automatic (haha) Friars win on the patio listening to the owls with a Modelo. Lol. **

** what do they say? tell me youre 53 without saying that youre 53.

I think it turned out to be a case of food poisoning that wasn't contagious.

My bet is that this game will not be made up. So Creighton and Providence might only play once, and it will be on the road for CU. Creighton keeps getting burned by others teams issues.

I am surprised that Prov couldn't muster 7 bodies and a coach. They were already in Omaha and had their shootaround. Hmmm.

I was really looking forward to this week's tilts (Prov and @Xavier) to boost the Jays stocks. Oh f'in well there goes our last real shot
at potential rankings. Feb will be a bloodbath - if we get to play those 12 game in 26 days!??

Has the X v Nova game been cancelled yet?
