Xavier game on a Friday night. My wife and I had a sitter and was ready to get a little tipsy prior to the game, but my entire family just tested positive. Very much a sad face today.

I think they've built-up a critical mass in learning Shaka's system, and are going to take off from here. Wow. Tonight included yet another 20-0 scoring run.

Why is Shaka wearing a mask in a post game interview with no one around him? Also, the announcers said Marquette is the youngest team in the Big East ( or Power conferences). Someone please fact check this- but Creighton list Ryan Kalk ( a redshirt freshman due to Covid ) as a sophomore , while Marquette calls their redshirt freshmen ( I believe 2 starters) freshman. Those two played 20+ games last year.

So looking, Marquette in Ken Pom is #351 in experience. That's the lowest in the Big East and for Power conferences, only Arizona has less. Creighton is #307. 1.33 yrs(to 0.80 for Marquette).

It’s a damn good thing Marquette spotted Creighton a 17 point lead last week, because from the 18 minutes mark of 2nd half of that game on, they are literally unstoppable for five straight halves.
