This guy posts nothing but negative outlook for this conference.

He's a troll- from what I remember he's a fan of an A10 team or something.

Bad weekend for the conference, but still, no bad losses and it actually went exactly as expected according to Vegas. We were underdogs in the 1 game on Friday, lost it. We were underdogs in 2 games yesterday, lost 3. We were underdogs in 2 games today, lost 1. It evens out overall. Yes, missed opportunities but still more to be had.

Not a great weekend for the Big East. First, the Johnnies got run over by the Jayhawks at UBS Arena. Then the Big East lost another three as Creighton, Marquette and Georgetown lost to Iowa State, Wisconsin and South Caroline respectively. But there is always a silver lining and it was in the form of a big X. The Musketeers took one from Oklahoma State on the Road to salvage the weekend. Still lots of F5 games to play

I know there was some concern that we could have our first losing record against the football 5 but looking at the matchups, we might be able to squeeze out a winning record….it will be close!

A Tuesday doubleheader against the F5. Underdog Butler goes on the road and grabs another win in the Big East / Big XII Challenge against Oklahoma and Nova hands the Orange a loss at MSG. Fun Fact - former founding member Syracuse has played 16 games against current Big East Teams since leaving the conference. Their record is 7-9 in those games. They are 3-3 against the Hoyas, 1-3 against St. John’s, 1-2 against Nova, and 2-1 against UConn. Really not many things better than beating Cuse. A lot of talk about possibly having a losing record against the F5 this season - let ‘s see how this plays out shall we? We are just five wins away from clinching a winning record with 13 to play.

In the books:

the game was played at MSG as part of Jimmy V Classic, not the carrier Dome.

Butler with the bigger win of the night with that upset on the road. Good for them!
