These are just practice sessions for Nova until we play Baylor.

every team has a few cupcakes. Nothing to apologize for with the Nova schedule. Not with UCLA, Tennessee, Purdue, Syracuse and Baylor on the schedule. Even the Big 5 wins on the road help Nova out some with the ratings.

Big 5 games are better than buy games for sure, but I don't think it'll last in its current round-robin format.

Ed Croswell has been great off the bench.

Providence takes care of business, but need their PG back against better teams.

I am guessing Marquette got screwed out of a home game vs. Wisconsin because they hosted last year without fans? I think this is the reason Providence and Seton Hall didn't play their local rivalry games last season. Xavier and Cinci did play but I guess the Bearcats got screwed in that matchup.

Not a good start for DePaul.

Difficult early goings for DePaul, but it looks like a pretty decent crowd in Wintrust today. Loyola's probably done enough in the last several years, coupled with a move to the A10 next year, that DePaul should lean into this as a local rivalry. They need all the juice they can get for that program.

DePaul trailed 23-8 early, but they've now cut the Loyola lead to 26-21.
