It is nice of Willard and the writer to give the coaches and GQ Jay & the rest, the Credit for the BEast brotherhood. But it all started HERE.

We, the collective fandom of the Big East know full well, that all of the "brotherhood", "kumbaya-ness" and cohesiveness started back
in 2013, here at the Vatican of the Big East boards - The Holyland of Hoops!!!

Giving the credit where it's DUE...

Roll Admin, Roll Billyjack, Roll Jet915... #RollHLOHRoll!

;)

...by the way... Admin needs to add the Vatican title in the Banner above...cause it's the truth.

I knew the rankings and even computer metrics were going to be really off to start the season, because covid affected teams disproportionately last season. Glad to see that Big Ten's being exposed early.

Marquette 19%
Providence 25%
Creighton 46%
Seton Hall 16%

BE expected to get 1.06 wins. only had a .003% chance of going 4-0.

looking ahead
Butler 47%
St John's 34%
Xavier 51%
DePaul 45%
so last 4 games 1.77 projected wins.

How about you look ahead to your beloved AAACK Kenpom by including the 6 new teams and minus Houston, Cinci and UCF?

Dont discount the rivalry aspect, we hate each other more than Tobacco Road in basketball. They had to halt the series for 40 years because a bloody brawl ended the game in Lincoln in 1933... they called the game and it was an all out fist fight amongst the players, fans.... wish we had videos back then because it would make the X Cincy “brawl” look like HS girls.

As others have noted the metrics must've been off this year due to the limited OOC schedules last year, but I'm still really impressed that the Big East was able to pull this off.

Strange that St. John's has the lowest odds of winning for the remaining games. I know they're away and all that, but it's still a bit surprising. If they can handle the crowd (the same way 3 other BE teams have done thus far), then there's no reason they can't pull this off.

Eh, leave him be. Stever said nothing about the AAC and, at least from what I've noticed, has been pretty positive about us since returning. This was a positive post, not a negative one.

frankly, I'm just glad things are close to back to normal.

Big East has done well so far- really well. (heck, AAC has too, but still, not the time).

What do you guys think of the new Fox score thing? Personally I LOVE it.

It was actually a quiet informative post so I don't mind it.

Glad to see Stever once again.
