Yes: 52 - 62%
No: 32 - 38%
Small sample size but this is what I have so far.

Located on a plateau above the west bank of the Missouri River and its confluence with the Platte River, Omaha has always been a good spot for westbound travelers to pull up, shake off the dust and look around.
In 1804, Meriwether Lewis and William Clark stopped there to meet with Indians on their epic trek to the Pacific. Two decades later, in 1825, the American Fur Company established a trading post at what’s now Hummel Park.

I’ll leave it to St. Louis and Omaha to fight out the title of “the Gateway to the West.”
Gateway to the West - True West Magazine says “Located on a plateau above the west bank of the Missouri River and its confluence with the Platte River, Omaha has always been a good spot for westbound travelers to pull up, shake off the dust and look around.

But St. Louis says IT was where Lewis and Clark stopped in 1804. It incorporated as a city in 1823, putting it ahead of Omaha.
Lewis and Clark could’ve stopped in both areas, for all I know.

In many ways Omaha is where the Midwest ends and "the West" begins.
……
The Gateway Arch monument in St. Louis, Missouri sits along the west bank of the Mississippi River is part of Gateway Arch National Park. The Gateway Arch takes its name from the city’s role as the “Gateway to the West” during the westward expansion of the United States in the 19th century.

At the end of the day the tourney creates about $1B in revenues yearly. Imagine if that $ was spread out equally among 64 teams. $15M per school.

His idiot comments changed my opinion of him for the worse.

Django - I thought I had read another post from you here as well. I’m just curious, did you take it down or was it taken down?
No biggie. Just curious. And you are (were) right!
