Not sure where you are getting ticket sales are up. Tickets for renewals have not even started yet. Might be hard still with a few of our older ticket members, with the fear of COVID-19. Long way to go. Time will tell. People will be more excited to renew than a 8th season of Wojo.

I can't wait for the press conference on Monday!

May be speaking too soon, but many of my MU circles had stopped buying tickets after the Hauser situation. Yesterday, every single one said they would buy tickets and even donate back because of the excitement and enthusiasm Shaka will bring.

I think we will see a spike in the weeks and months ahead, IMO.

I believe 75% did renew knowing that fans would not be going to games in 2020-21.

I think if anyone was one the fence about an 8th season of Wojo will now be back in 2021-22 with Shaka.

I don't recall Wojo's arrival. Were fans equally excited at that time?

Most were still bummed about the Shaka then no Shaka fiasco and a bit underwhelmed. Thought he gave off polished answers and wasn't very genuine at the presser.

Different vibe today than seven years ago. Many disheartened about Buzz leaving. Many thought it was Shaka time. Wojo was a name, people thought it was a solid hire.

Jake @jakeweingarten
Marquette has landed former Texas pledge Emarion Ellis, a source told @stockrisers. Was formerly committed to Shaka Smart prior to his transition to the Golden Eagles. This was expected, but, now official.
