I never knew that either, so I checked out who takes those shots. Christian Bishop is the easy leader in attempts but is not a shooter at all, and he shoots 64%, and Damien Jefferson is the surprising one, only shooting 64% despite shooting the three well. Then Zegarowski is the only one of the decent free throw shooters that breaks 75%, so they don't really have anyone balancing that out.
Concerning the game, this is the first time that I felt like I was watching Xavier again since the multiple Covid disruptions. They just really screwed up this team, and I hope they are more locked in now after a wonderful game. I'm bummed about Nate Johnson being out for the rest of the season because of what he brings to the team but also because I really like the guy and I hate that his one season at the high-major level was cut short.
