Starting to worry that things might not go DePaul's way tonight.

Marquette made UNC look bad tonight. Huge win, very satisfying, for the Big East... especislly with those homer pro-ACC announcers.

I have no idea why UNC stopped pressuring the ball in the backcourt when Marquette had difficulty with the press (2nd half). Overall, i think MU being physical was too much for the Cheatin Heels.

It's starting to look like only 3 bids maybe even just 2. I'm starting to think the media is biased and underrating the Big East in bracket projections.

Just following up on the Marquette win over UNC-- was freakin HUGE. Optics-wise, a team reeling in the Big East dominated the ACC, out muscled them. Really bullied them on the road in the Dean Dome. This result could get us an extra bid depending on how things play out.

I don't know why every team that plays MU doesn't press for 40 straight minutes. We have one player that can handle the ball most of the time (Carton), one player that should but never can (McEwen) and several other players that are absolutely terrified of putting the ball on the floor because they know they shouldn't dribble (Cain, Elliott, Torrence, Perez).

On top of that, press breaking is completely foreign to this group/staff. We dribble into traps, we catch passes in the corners, and we inbound the ball into contested windows.

Maybe UNC just sucks and the other leagues look past everyone not named Nova from this league. Felt great watching the ACC get smacked. Val needs to find a in season challenge with somebody. Maybe with the A10?

I thought this league only does challenges with peer conferences. You sound very AAC...

Right, i was oblivious to Marquette's ballhandling struggles.

The entire second half, MU had trouble with basic inbounds plays. To me, the key Warrior piece that kept effing up was Elliott... most of the time he was turned away from the inbounder not even paying attention, except when he'd run over like an idiot and stand next to Carton or Torrence... i mean, WTF?

If the ball DID get inbounded, UNC would trap... then if MU made a second pass under their own hoop, UNC would back off... i have no idea why.

I only saw the second half, and it was really crazy and disjointed. I really think Marquette's muscle exhausted UNC, or forced them to rush shots or make dumb decisions.

Marquette also played kind of free-wheeling ball, with no worries. They never seemed anxious.

A win like this hurts say Georgia Tech, who has beaten really no one, and now cant point to their UNC win as a major positive.

I think it may be time to move on from Wojo. Unless he goes on a crazy run to close out the season.
