Nothing makes any sense. Evidently X was a green light for Thursday but DePaul opted out due to their protocols? The situation is confusing.

The CDC had updated their recommended quarantine period down to 7 to 10 days in order to try to achieve greater compliance. Xavier uses the lower end of that range as their standard, while DePaul uses the upper end. We are just in that awkward period in between. It's probably not the first time something like that has happened between two D1 teams this season.
