I don't even remember the last time I've seen a seton hall team this bad. How do you let a team hit 30 threes on 51% shooting across two games?

And it's not just Creighton, SHU can't defend the arc against anyone. The only games they've looked halfway decent in are the rare occasions when the opponent's wide open shooters somehow couldn't hit anyway.

What a choke job, this team doesn't belong anywhere near the postseason.

A missed front end of a 1&1 by Cale and a banked 3 by Mahoney. That’s a tough one for sure.

We got beat on a banked in three by David Duke in the final minute of the game last week. If nothing else, ours tonight still required multiple additional defensive plays and baskets to have any impact on the game.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

To be fair Omaha after Duke’s bank in 3, Zeg did the same in the other end shortly after. But to your point there was still game to be played after Mahoney bank in.

It gives me no pleasure to write, but MUBB is broken and I believe a change is necessary. There is not only a substantial talent gap, but the development (in-season and long-term) just isn't there. The four year guys just aren't Big East skill-level (other than Markus). The young studs are clearly regressing. Seven years. Two NCAA Tournament appearances. Zero NCAA Tournament wins.

Yeah, there was still time on the clock but it wasn't relevant. That was the backbreaker. The Jays had already hit their share of circus shots and that one just made it beyond evident that it was just one of those nights. They could've taken nothing but blindfolded 360 halfcourt shots the rest of the game and they all would've gone down.

Nice road win for my Johnnies over DePaul.....looks like we’re now playing at Marquette on Saturday to replace Sunday’s postponed game with UConn....
