The old statistics axiom... nova's shooting regressed to the mean...

Breed is a PLAYER.... bright future for that kid. 1st half having duke guatd Gillespie worked well for PC with no one else hitting... Daniels played much better in the second half and moore was solid. Nova did a decent job on watson too..

Didn’t get a chance to jump on since the end of the Nova - PC game. Let me add a +1 to the comment that “Breed is a player.” Very impressed by him today. Like a true Friar he plays hard on both ends of the court. Does a little bit of everything and well. Nice player.

Also let me give a +1 to a comment earlier this week about BE officiating. Poor effort today in both of the first two games IMO.

Didn’t see it but MU needs wins. They’ve got to find a way in that spot.

Quick note, just found this interesting:

Yesterday, Villanova scored 24 pts in the first half vs Providence. That's the first time VU has scored fewer than 30 points in any half all season.

The previous time Villanova scored fewer than 30 in a half was last February 29th, 2020, when they scored 19, also vs Providence again, at Wells Fargo.

Last two seasons combined, Villanova has scored 24 or fewer in any half only 5 times... two vs PC, once each vs Creighton, Kansas and Ohio State.

If you go to MUScoop people are calling for his head like crazy. That was one of the worst performances by a healthy Marquette team I've ever seen in my 12 years of fandom.
