So that takes our rescheduled game out?

Sorry to read this Chap.

They will be getting the college football championship game in somehow. We just have to hope that basketball can navigate its way to a logical tournament.

Big East will have to be a bit more agile and start filling in games when possible. For instance, both Xavier and UConn had last weekend off and were covid-free.

Yeah Dash, really sucks as I think this could be a special team come tournament time. My hope is they can get enough games under their belt to get going again. I felt like they were just hitting their stride and improving every game. Have no idea when they squeeze in the game with X. Looking like if /when they come back its going to be a lot of games --hopefully-- in a short window, The bubblevile period was great for fans-- a game every other night! Not so sure its great for college kids though.

Crazy thing is a lot folks think they got it because of the holidays. The team did not leave campus, they stayed in a hotel and parents came to socially distance see them. Who knows how it all went down. Jay was not there with the team as I understand yet he was positive first. Flu like symptoms--don't know who the other staff person was. Came off of quarantine, practiced once and was ready to travel to chicago for the DePaul game and boom---2 positive results back for players. They are supposedly symptomatic. So, I would imagine all the players were exposed at this point..

Honestly, just hoping they get enough reps in. Crazy times we have here... Hopefully we get the "Ohio State" Football treatment if we don't get in the 13 games..

Ya, this is one instance where I think Val and the BE missed the mark. I know they created those 2 one week breaks later in the season for make-up games, but there's no telling who will be available to play during those time periods. IMO it's better to get ahead of it by swapping out match-ups now instead of waiting around hoping that the designated make-up weeks will complete the round robin.

With all these games cancelled or postponed due to Covid, I propose...ok hear me out.. that Fox present these games via NBA 2K20. The school can designate 4 players (1 player per 10 minutes) to play against the opposing school. eh? huh? good idea huh?

Chap, most importantly, is Jay okay and coming out of it, so to speak? Overall, is your group making progress towards a full recovery?

Husky is right: Intergalactic Headquarters needs to pivot a little and start playing these games when and where possible. Leave the cushion as a better, fuller cushion in the event we really need it.

And yes, you guys have another special team this year, as does Creighton. We need to for the NCAAT to happen in a fair and logical manner. Certainly, without question and with the effective stewardship we constantly find out of the NCAA itself, there is no risk of that not happening.

Okay, martini time for me.

Hey Gtmo,
Whatever happened to that Rati Andro guy?
Wisdom is what you get 5 seconds after you needed it.

Rati Andronikashvili tore an ACL in preseason, that's why our walkon played yesterday against the Johnnies. And some in our fan base apparently think Mac should have had fourth PG on scholarship.
