Based on the Prez's recommendation I'm stocking up!

Yo, Gumby my man. Nova won't have to share a title, if there is no title to be won. :o

If we can make it thru December and the 2 early conference games, then the team with the overall best record, with the 2 conference wins will be the champs.
exp: Depaul with a 11-2 overall record including the 2 december conference wins would be crowned champs over both Jays 11-2 (1-1 conf) and Nova 12-1 (1-1 conf).
Coach Leitao wins a champeenship, saves his job, and the Blue Demons have some ground to build on in recruiting and shit talking. Go Blue Demons!

Thanks for the concern Django. Fortunately I'm just a bit crazy, not stupid. I learned to read and write back in the Big O when I was a lad, so I won't be "experimenting with detergents, cleaning agents, and the like."
I spent 29 years and change as a corpsman (bug chaser), so I have an idea or two about public health. I luv the Prez, cause he's at least consistent in his inconsistencies, but he's always looking out for #1 (himself).
Looks as though his health is flying south, fast.

Be safe fellas. (Now, where did I put my bluejuice?)

Morehouse College announced that they are canceling their college football season due to Covid. I imagine there could be many more.

Harvard can get away with that, but 99% of universities can't.

Stanford just cut 11 varsity sports. Their endowment is huge. Doesn’t bode well for other schools.....

Stanford just announced they are completely dropping 11 sports. Forever.

Also hearing that Big Ten football will be moving to a 10 game Conference only schedule.

Let's say that more non-Power conferences pull out and by October the OOC just gets cancelled entirely.

What does that mean for the Tournament if conferences don't play each other? Have to assume the Big East will be treated just as well as the other Power conferences in regards to bids. Who knows what'll happen, though.

Would be great to use last year's OOC, but doubt that'll happen since the ACC didn't do very well and would object.

Maybe take the past 5 years and average number of bids per conference, and then award that number of slots? So if Big East gets 5 then the top 5 teams plus the BET winner get a bid.
