The Xavier / Johnnies game was an entertaining game to watch if you like hoops. Casual hoops fans who rolled into the game got a good show for the most part.

Here is a sample from the weekend. Last year, I was hoping the Xavier at MU game to be at 3:30pm following a NFL playoff game. Well, FOX never had a game that Sunday and MU was at 11am. Lead-in's do matter! Crazy number for St. John's at Xavier!

Surprised the Xavier/St. John's game pulled 2.3 million going up against the Eagles/Seahawks. Also (pleasantly) surprised FOX chose Xavier/St. John's as the follow to the NFL playoffs.... thought it would be a more marquee Big East matchup or a Big 10 matchup.

They did pick a marquee match-up, no?
