2020 Recruiting Class- THE BEST EVER!!!

I haven't read through this whole thread, but the last 2 commitments for Butler and UConn are bigtime pickups. Love seeing the Big East killing it on the recruiting trail. Will be surprised if Jay brings in anybody for 2020 since his freshman, sophomore and junior classes are very crowded. Seems like he is just focusing on 2021 right now.

I mean, Villanova's gonna get someone. They're not just going to take a pass on a whole class.

Villanova essentially has 6 freshmen right now considering Caleb Daniels has to sit out a year and will be a sophomore next year. Other than that we have 3 sophomores and 3 juniors. If there are no transfers or guys going to the NBA, all these guys will be back next year, and I imagine 1 or 2 will redshirt. It is a logjam right now and a lot of these kids play similar positions. With that, I have been hearing Jay is no longer actively recruiting 2020 and is focused on 2021.

Butler was really the only one of the non C7 schools that hadn't taken advantage of being in the league, but a lot of that had to do with coaching turnover, IMO. Xavier has been killing it, and Creighton has pulled in some really nice classes too.

I can't wait to see what a difference air conditioning makes at Hinkle too. Going to be a lot nicer for those in the higher sections.

Providence is heavily in on Timberlake as well. Nice to seemingly knock Alabama out of the running but there's still a lot of competition here - notably UNC who I believe now has the last visit with SHU being moved up to replace Bama. Interestingly, from what I've seen pretty much school involved in this recruitment seems to think they're in great shape to land him.

Well, hopefully one of you guys get him.

Xavier is sending the full staff to minnesota tonight to try to land ben carlson

Timberlake cancelled his official visit to UNC and will take no more visits.

Providence and Seton Hall both still involved, along with Miami, South Carolina, and Pitt.

No brainer but it sounds like UCONNs move to Big East helped...

I think he'll end up in the Big East. 50/50 on which school though.

No inside info, just a guess from what I've seen publicly.
