Creighton beat Cal Poly today 3-0. Currently ranked #6, should move up a few spots with Georgetown and Indiana losing.

Even though the SEC does not sponsor soccer, I will include games against them in this analysis since they would be major programs anyway.

I think the only SEC teams that sponsor soccer are Missouri and Kentucky. I might be missing one but i understand your points.

The conference info google doc now has a men's soccer tab. If you click on "MSOC" at the top of the page, you will be taken to a master calendar of the conference's men's soccer teams. At the bottom of the sheet are the current standings, ordered by conference record, then season record, then alphabetical. Because of the uniqueness of soccer (and perhaps some other non-revs), it may be worthwhile to add wins/losses against ranked teams in your charting. Unlike basketball and football, a national champ for a non power league in soccer is not beyond the norm. Plus, there are many non power conference members that are true soccer powers. For example, a win in soccer against powers like Akron, St Louis, SMU, Tulsa, etc. is a lot more impressive than a win against many, many power conference schools.

I see your point and agree soccer is a different animal than most. But I am going to stick to the power conferences for the purpose of this thread to see where we are in terms of those leagues. At the end of the day, that is part of how we are going to be judged as a league. I will make mention of a ranked win when one pops up though.

#2 Creighton defeats Columbia 3-1 in front of 5,000+. Also, #23 St. John's beats #5 Akron in double OT. Pitter's goal at the 2 min. mark was pretty amazing.
