Wake Forest grad transfer (PG) Madison Jones is coming to Seton Hall according to Adam Zagoria. He was rumored to be waiting in the wings as a backup plan for if Whitehead chose not to return and it seems to now be made official. He had pretty good steal and assist numbers for Wake his junior year but didn't play his senior year after getting kicked off the team following a DUI. He supposedly transferred to Mercer for his senior year, but it seems he never made it there and instead finished up his degree at Wake Forest.

It sounds like exactly the player Seton Hall needed, a point guard available in November. Don't they have another transfer point guard or combo guard available mid-season?

Yeah, Kansas State transfer Jevon Thomas. He comes with some baggage too though. He was expected to sit out all last season and be available at the start of next season, but he ended up choking a student in a pickup/intramural basketball game and getting suspended for the 2nd semester. Since he was suspended, that semester didn't count towards his waiting period for eligibility and he now needs to sit the first semester of next season. Apparently coach considered kicking him off the team for that incident, but ultimately decided to give him another chance. He's supposedly on zero tolerance now, one more indicent and he's gone.
