Big East Covid cancels/reschedules

Seems like a decent amount of Big Fox coverage this year. May bode well for extension discussions in the next year or two.

Feels about the same as normal. Had some bad luck on things which cost some broadcasts on there(Marquette/UCLA).

Of course would argue this timeslot is one of the worst in the year- going up against San Francisco vs Dallas NFL game. Don't want to go up against NFL normally, but this is even worse than normal.

At this point all we should be worried about is that the games are all played and that they are on TV. lol

Reality is we are in January, The NFL is the NFL, and Covid has made scheduling a mess. So any chance we get to be on Big Fox is better than being on FS1/FS2

Georgetown's Patrick Ewing will not coach on Thursday against Butler due to COVID protocols, per release. Assistant Louis Orr will serve as acting head coach.

The BIG EAST has announced that the @UConnMBB at @PCFriarsmbb game, which was scheduled for Saturday, January 15, has been canceled due to COVID issues within the PC program.

Per BIG EAST game cancellation policy, the Conference office will attempt to reschedule the game.

so looking here is what the league should do-
have DePaul play UConn on Saturday(previously a DePaul bye). @ UConn. Game was scheduled previously on 3/5.
Have UConn play @ UConn on 3/5 day was supposed to be a bye for Providence.

Pretty easy fix there.

Creighton has played like 3 league games in about a month and we've been healthy the whole time! Nothing fair about this year....

Yeah sadly that's really the bottom line. Gonna be another year that probably deserves an * besides it.

Big East changed the time of the Marquette/Seton Hall makeup game- instead of 5pm on FS2 I think it was it's now 8:30pm on FS1. Should be a good one.

so I saw on twitter the aviation sports thing had Georgetown flying up to Providence. So guess the game will be played tomorrow.
