I seriously doubt this. Maybe just Creighton and Xavier, and Marquette to a lesser degree? I'd imagine football starts and ends with the NFL for the vast majority of us northeast corridor schools.

Xavier will have a little crossover with Ohio state and notre dame. More so notre dame, but mostly were all just bengals fans

If they cared about that, they wouldn’t have sent hockey to the big ten, d. Many of those schools tried to kill Irish football a century ago. Plus, the ACC schools are mostly ‘good’, new south schools with great academics. It would have been interesting if UConn had stuck with us in 2013 (I know, I know, UConn peeps). From what I understand, ND was really concerned about women’s b-ball, baseball and a couple other sports where the acc was clearly superior to the C7 plus potential replacements. UConn might have made it a more difficult decision, but I suspect ND would still make the same choice.

Nice perspective on the ACC and I think it was more inline with ND football realizing they could go to the Deep South with their history and message on the recruiting front rather than Olympic sports

Nova and UConn aren't on the list yet, and only 36 out of the top 136 recruits have committed. Of those 36, 7 have committed to the Big East (19%, well above average for a P6 conference). Now let's hope St. John's can land #99 Posh Alexander!

Butler is starting to build a pretty nice class.

Still have two left and some interesting recruits. (Not going to stay at 4 in the nation even if we get another high commit, but moving up the ladder a bit on type of recruits for sure.)

Looks like Butler is likely going to get Jakobe Coles out of Texas. I put that in the 247 calculator and that would put the class at 55.35, which would have ranked 32nd in the 2019 class with room for one more to increase that.

Corey Evans on 5* Cam Thomas: Thomas has been an NC State lean for a while, but the longer things have gone, the less likely it seems he will end up in Raleigh. Look for UConn with Thomas, as the Huskies have picked up ground with him of late.
