I don't think they're near the bubble.... yet. 12-7 with 10 to go. I think go 5-5 and they'd be 17-12. With some good wins obviously- 2 Q1 wins in Texas and Michigan should remain. UConn should remain as well. So that's 3. They have 5 games left non Q1 after tonight. Especially where some teams are right now, I think they'd be pretty darn safe. But lose 1-2 of those non Q1 games, and the rope goes pretty quickly. Margin of error evaporates quickly.

We couldn't beat a high school jv team right now. Another truly pathetic performance.

I am overstating things a bit, but a night like yesterday shows how challenging it will be for the Big East to get 7 NCAA bids as many of us hoped. It can still happen, but it will be very difficult.

Ya, Creighton fell 17 spots in the NET, from 50 to 67. Not good.

I think what it shows is how close to impossible it is to get both 7 bids but also 7 well seeded bids. Creighton and Seton Hall would still be in the tourney right now- just they're going to both be seeded 8 or lower (and maybe 10 or lower) and it's going to be difficult even 1st round not to mention 2nd round.

Congrats on the nice road win at Cintas last night my man! If you had told me Big Nate was going to play 18 minutes and finish with two rebounds and no points I would have taken my chances in a heartbeat. I knew Durham and Bynum were both good but seeing them live and in person last night gave me a whole new appreciation for what those guys do. And what can we say about my favorite BE coach Easy Ed? Absolutely love his animated involvement and game orchestration from the bench. He just seems to get it at all levels doesn't he? Driving home last night I couldn't help but feel this might be a magical year for your Friars.
Best of luck the rest of the way this season.

It was not a great effort, but that’s a bit harsh.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.
