Big Ten expansion rumors swirling again

I can't see it, GT will need a FBS football team to do it and i just don't see it happening. That said when the new league forms we will see what the fee is for leaving the conference my guess it will be rather large. This league wants to be the premier bbonly league having schools potentially wander off will not be an option. You can always schedule an OOC home and home especially if your GT and play in DC. Just my humble we might need a GT alumni to get a good feel for the situation.

Over/under on how long Georgetown is in this new conference before the conference realignment dominos join them back up with their friends already headed to the ACC?

Serious question.

I wouldn't give it an over/under since it's something that may never materialize. Could it happen? Yes, but there are a too many questions right now to know if they would ever get the chance much less accept. If too many dominoes fall the ACC may not be as appealing as we think it would be to them. If we are stable, they might be leery about getting back into a hybrid conference, particularly if it looks unstable. Who knows, you'd think Georgetown would bolt given the opportunity, but the question is much more complicated than just when the proper dominoes will fall. The right dominoes have to fall, as well.
