Seeds if they were placed by the NET alone (instead of cherry picking):

2. UConn
4. Marquette
4. Creighton
7. Xavier
10. Providence

Congrats to all the Marquette fans here. Enjoy the heck out of winning the Big East, but don't get fat and happy. Gotta keep the train rolling into the post season.

An absolutely amazing job by Shaka these past two years. With a completely revamped roster got them into NCAA's in year one, and has them BE champs in year two, with who knows what in store come the NCAA tournament. Gives Georgetown and Johnnie fans hope, knowing what can be done in a short period of time with the right coach.

We’ll put Re the impact of a solid coach on a program.

And congratulations to Marquette.

Fantastic job, Marquette!

Would be great to have 4 (or even 5) teams ranked next week for the BET.

#6 Marquette- already won at Butler and will be ranked #4-7 if they beat SJU on Saturday (as a Johnnies fan I couldn't care less- go for it, Warriors!). Obviously a lock for an AP ranking regardless, no worse than #12ish.
#14 UConn- guaranteed a ranking after beating DePaul tonight. Would get close to #10 if they beat Villanova on the road Saturday.
#19 Xavier- should stay ranked after a big win @ #20 Providence, and would gain a few spots if they beat Butler at home Saturday.
#20 Providence- lost at home to #19 Xavier, but may remain ranked if the beat Seton Hall on Saturday. Probably would be around #24-26.

#26 Creighton- good chance to claw their way back in. Demolishing Georgetown currently but also would need to beat DePaul on the road on Saturday.

Overall, I like our chances for 4 ranked BET teams, but could be anywhere from 3-5 teams. Not sure it's happened before where we had 4 (let alone 5) ranked teams entering the BET.

I can picture Harvey Korman trying to stifle a laugh during a Tim Conway skit.

By the way, unbelievably, "History of the World Part 2" is being released next week, after a 40+ year period since Part One. "It's good to be the king"...

That Korman/Conway skit- today back in 1969!
