Small sample size for the poll on the Gonzaga site, but i think only 61% for "Yes" is pretty low for a fanbase.

I just read that topic over there. I like how some of them think women's basketball would be a lateral move, and soccer, etc are superior in the wcc.

Ha! You beat me to posting that. I was wondering myself why they believe that their Olympic sports are generally so much better than Olympic sports in the Big East. Xavier’s women just beat UConn to wrap up the Big East regular season championship and is ranked 17th in the nation. That’s just one example of BE Olympic sports across-the-board that do well at the NCAA level.

It is a very weird thing to believe in. BE teams appears to be ranked higher in most sports in recent seasons, and Nova & Uconn has combined to win 43 national team titles. Oh, and their best athletic department is leaving soon!
