I don't know what to think about this team. EIU had a decent showing against Wisconsin but I also don't really know how good they are either.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

You have a very intriguing group of guys. A little surprised that Coach 'ski doesn't start DJ, but probably just honoring his upper classmen.....no biggie.

It is instantly apparent that Garcia is the real deal. Multi-tooled and silky smooth. He's going to leave some bodies in his wake for sure. John is a flat out enforcer and McEwen will be steady and surprise offensively.

As an X guy, I think we can effectively compete with that. ZFree will be happy to slug it out with Garcia, and our mix of youth/experience in the backcourt has a slight edge IMO.

Not sure if we have an answer for a nasty player like TJ. He is very much like Xavier's TJ from last year....yikes!

The SHU loss to me felt like a loss for X. I was rooting so hard for the Pirates, due to my disdain for Mack.

I have to say that it's hard understand how a low mid major transfer like Jones had his way in this one. As far as Mamu goes, although he had an amazing game, he had an opportunity to closed better and alter that stick back by the freshman Traynor.

BTW- Was that the transfer Molson...who got that slick feed from Mamu at the end? Guy needs to can that one. Good fight for the ball there, after the miss, but no go.

The Hall will be a very tough out for anyone.
