Big East is Back

It was the idea of one man. Dave Gavitt of Providence College. He asked three others to help make his idea come to reality - Jack Kaiser of St. John’s, Frank Rienzo of Georgetown and Jake Crouthamel of Syracuse. Those four invited UConn, Seton Hall and Boston College to comprise the original founding seven. Five of those seven still call the Big East home. Through all the changes, the Big East is still the best basketball conference in the nation. Easily the most entertains to watch. Let’s kill it in the brief non-con schedule before the wars begin.
