Georgetown sixth, St. John's 17th, Marquette 26. Good league!

The loss to UW-Milwaukee really hurt us, but I'm sure we will recover. The league overall is still looking strong.

Sorry for the attempt to hijack the thread temporarily for my selfish needs. But I am looking for some advice from any Creighton Soccer regulars. Got tickets to my first Creighton game tomorrow night (9/6 against Columbia). Any recommendations on where to park? For most events at TDA Park or the Clink I park downtown and walk. But I am not as familiar with the area around Morrison and wonder if my wife and I can expect to walk back downtown safely after the game or if there is a better idea or route anyone would recommend. Thanks.

They will help you out ... and make sure you are fed before and after the game ... and get you a pony. OK, I lied about the pony.

Thanks. I did register over there a few minutes ago. I am waiting for them to get me through the series of emails before I can post my question. Shouldn't be so impatient I guess.

You can find parking for $5 right around Morrison. If you want to park for free, you can likely find plenty within a couple blocks. Just a block south around the Civic Auditorium is all metered, but since you don't have to plug the meters after 5:00, you can usually find free stuff right there. You should be fine walking from anywhere around there. I'd stay around Creighton and/or SOUTH of Morrison, though -- the potential problem areas are really all NORTH of the stadium.

Head down early and go to Billy Blue's Alumni Bar and Grill at the Harper Center right there on campus. They usually have pregame things going on before Jays sporting events, decent "bar type" food and drinks, and then just a 1 block walk over to the pitch for the game.
